SC rejects customs intelligence appeal in DP world case

ISLAMABAD: A two-member bench of Supreme Court comprising Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Ameer Haani Muslim has sustained the decision of the Sindh High Court regarding the DP world container case.

As per details, earlier Special Customs court imposed Rs 25,000 fine in each case while 32 FIRs have been registered in DP world container case. After the imposition of Rs 25,000 fine, the accused appealed in Customs appellant tribunal Karachi and tribunal to demolish fine over them.
