SHC restrains Commissioner-IR from recovering over Rs80m from catering company

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has restrained the tax department from recovering more than Rs80 million from a catering company.

A SHC appellate bench, comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Mrs Ashraf Jahan, restrained Income Tax Commissioner, Zone III from recovering Rs80, 278,717 from Burhani Sindhi Catering Syndicate.
