KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has restrained the tax department from recovering more than Rs80 million from a catering company.
A SHC appellate bench, comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Mrs Ashraf Jahan, restrained Income Tax Commissioner, Zone III from recovering Rs80, 278,717 from Burhani Sindhi Catering Syndicate.
The bench hearing the sides also directed the petitioner Zahid Hussain represented by Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate to pursue the appeal pending before the Commissioner Appeals IV.
