Court orders provisional release of PVC Flex consignment

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered provisional release of a consignment of PVC Flex imported by M/s Astrontech (Private) Limited. FBR suspends performance allowance 16 officials

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has suspended the performance allowance of 16 officials. All these officials belong to grade 17 and grade 18. Tax evasion of Rs 3.135m: Customs PCA issues contravention report against Getz Pharma

KARACHI: The Customs Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Karachi has issued a contravention report against M/s Getz Pharma (Private) Limited for Rs 3.135 million tax evasion by claiming inadmissible benefits under SRO567(I)/2006. The scrutiny of the import data revealed that M/s Getz Pharma imported consignments of “Esomerprazole Pellets” under PCT Heading 2933.3990 through MCC Preventive, Custom House.
